November 14, 2019 by Greta

November 18th UPDATE!

We are grateful and thrilled to announce that every slot for Give a Hand / Get a Headshot has been claimed! We have been overwhelmed by the response, and can hardly wait for tomorrow’s show of support! Already, a generous gift of $300 to Cup of Cool Water has come in, providing a strong start to the fundraiser. Our sincerest gratitude and heartfelt thanks are flowing all around 🧡

If you would like to be put on a wait-list for any last-minute openings, please feel free to email us at hello@rogueheartmedia.com. And regardless, please consider making a charitable donation to Cup of Cool Water and adding to our effort to support the expansion of their Youth Workforce Development program in 2020.

On November 19th, Rogue Heart Media is encouraging local professionals in need of a new portrait to show up for a good cause. Give a Hand / Get a Headshot is an epic, all-day, in-studio event, where participants can have their portrait taken for a simple donation, with 100% of the proceeds benefiting Cup of Cool Water and the youth they serve who are currently experiencing homelessness.

Cup of Cool Water is launching their expanded Youth Workforce Development program in 2020, continuing to respond to the youth in our community who need mentorship, healthy relationships, a safe space, food & clothing, and job readiness training. The team at Rogue Heart Media has collaborated on video and photo storytelling with Cup of Cool Water since 2017, and we’re eager to support this growth in their programming.

With a $100 minimum donation, individuals will receive a 15-minute headshot session. Portraits will be reviewed on site, and the favorite image file will be emailed to each participant for their own use, whether on LinkedIn profiles, business cards, etc, up to 8×10 size. A representative from Cup of Cool Water will be present to answer questions and connect with participants throughout the day.

Schedule an individual session and help us fill every slot to support this awesome nonprofit in making a positive impact in the lives of some our most vulnerable young people. We hope you’ll join us.
