Yes, we make videos and capture images… yes, we are storytellers. But deeper and more importantly, we consistently seek out partners that celebrate people doing good work and projects that make a difference in our community.

SEEKING: Nonfiction Filmmaker with a Focus on Shooting, Editing, and Collaborating

We are enthusiastically seeking our newest creative team member to support our nonfiction production and post-production work. A strong sense of story, a commitment to honesty and equity, and a love of narrative-driven video of various lengths are all must-haves. We create pieces that are serious as well as plenty that are lighthearted and fun. Some are informational and others emotional. And we exercise adaptability and authenticity on every project. Want to join us? 🧡 

We are seeking a seasoned video creator, proficient with cameras and their support equipment (monitors, stabilizers, microphones, etc), comfortable in the realms of lighting techniques and field sound optimization. We emphasize MUST LOVE PEOPLE because experience with the tools of the trade is important, and respect for people and their entrusted stories is even more so.

Required Qualifications

  • > 2+ years shooting & editing experience
  • > Demonstrated eye for composition and dynamic documentary shooting
  • > Experience with DSLRs and cinema cameras
  • > Experience in optimizing available and studio lighting
  • > Proficient in Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop
  • > Demonstrated long-form and short-form editing skills
  • > Excellent communication (oral and written) and time-management skills
  • > Excellent collaboration skills / Master juggler of simultaneous projects
  • > Drone Certification a plus
