Day 14 – Water like glass

Jarrell Cove

May 28, 2015 by Megan

Maybe the skies were determined to thrill and make up for the lack of sunset on Day 11, but whatever the reason, the best images I captured while at Jarrell Cove were during the fleeting moment of twilight when the water appeared like glass.

When we awoke to Day 14 and prepared to cover the rest of the intimate park for photography and video, we were met with mild gray-blue skies and a calm emerald tide.

We had another long drive ahead of us (155 miles) as we traveled northeast once again, this time towards Wallace Falls and our longest hike of the trip. We needed to save some strength for this place, where the waters rage instead of rest.
